Showcase Home in Blacksburg www.lunchpailshowhouse.com Final Touch Designs was honored to be part of the Virginia Tech's Lunch Pail Scholarship Fund that Bud Foster put together. We were the only Home Staging company to be part of this project. Our whole emphasis was on keeping costs to a minimum, using what we already had at our disposal, and relying on the help from our local businesses. We were blessed to have a number of businesses help us. Please contact us and tell us what you think of our project.A huge thank you is extended to the following businesses: - CIC Dulux Paints, Williamson Road, Roanoke Provided Non-VOC paints and supplies - Trinity Old School House Quilt Shop, Fincastle Provided the fabric for bulletin board and valance - Brambleton Frame, Roanoke Provided foam core for bulletin board and valance - Grand Home Furnishings, Valley View, Roanoke Provided large furnishings for room

The white furniture "pops" when placed up against the soft, muted turquoise colored walls. Non-VOC paints were used because they are non-toxic. We used an eggshell so it is washable. |

We custom made the valance green (made from foam core and cardboard) so the eye would flow naturally into the lime green bathroom. To keep from putting too many holes in the walls, we attached the valance to the window trim. |

Placing the bed at an angle in the corner of the room gives more space in the center. Many accessories for this room were purchased at Pier 1. The rest were recycled items from other my family. |

he bulletin board was also made from foam core and recycled cardboard. Fabric covered the center board. The trash can is made from recycled newspapers and note cards and journal were made from bamboo. |

The large potted mums were the inspiration behind this project. We wanted something bright and colorful that would catch the eye of the buyers and have them remember the room. We added a bubble gum machine on the desk as another "emotional connection point" for the room. |
